"PRIMITIVE LIGHT " (Installation - 2012) For centuries, candles were the principal instrument we had to light our daily life. On the other hand, the fire and the light of the candles have had a religious meaning: offering and request. By increasing drastically their scale, they acquire new and different meanings, turning from an object to a spatial element. The candles are consumed, testifying the passage of time. With the melting of the wax, the changeable atmospheres goes from a labyrinthine and hot environment to a more oppressive and warm space. Ending with a desolate and cold atmosphere as the last wick is consumed and exhibition goes to an end.. The installation will be different day by day, inviting the visitor to see it more than once, diversifying his experiences and interpretations.
