MULTICINEMA 12 Location: Av. Las Condes with Fray Montalva Las Condes, Santiago de Chile Architect: Enrique Browne Collaborators: Patricio Browne, Davor Pavlovic and Enrique C. Browne Models: Verónica Celedón Plot Area: 4.352 sq. mt Built Area: 8.239 sq. mt. Date: 2002 It consists of a set of 12 movie rooms in Las Condes Avenue plus all the necessary equipment and parking. The great hall has the access as well as the waiting. It also includes restaurants at different levels connected by escalators. Therefore, this hall would be very active. This come and go of people will be visible from the street, especially from the corner. Given that one side of this hall is towards the west, a “double green skin” was used that disappears towards the corner. The glazing would be silk screened in color with movie scenes. Special attention was paid to night lighting. The opaque zones of the building would be clad in green oxidized copper.
