Location: Valparaíso, Chile Date: 2014 Surface: 8400 mts State: Proyect Architects: Enrique Browne and Tomas Swett Collaborator: Gabriel Diaz R. Client: : Servicios Ultracorp Ltda Structural Consultants: Alfonso Larrain Valparaiso Building is located nearby the Astoreca Building, occupying an empty micro square. Farther east is an avenue of rapid transit, the port and the sea. The program raised a large multipurpose room for 450 people, subdivided into 2 or 3 smaller rooms. Below 100 parking lots, (most of them designed for the Astoreca Building) and upstairs offices in a free floorspace. The building was designed as a large cube suspended and covered in a green perforated aged copper, to give a homogeneous appearance in its 4 faces, typical from the "square - buildings " of the sector. Towards the Astoreca Building this cube opens himself in a "wave" form, offering a view of the entire facade, which acts as a limit or virtual facade of space. This place belongs to the great hall that leads through a wide staircase to the multipurpose room located on the second level.
